Dresden is the capital city of the German state of Saxony and its second most populous city, after Leipzig. Dresden is one of the most visited cities in Germany with 4.7 million overnight stays per year. Its most prominent building is the Frauenkirche located at the Neumarkt. Built in the 18th century, the church was destroyed during World War II. The remaining ruins were left for 50 years as a war memorial, before being rebuilt between 1994 and 2005. Other famous landmarks include the Zwinger, the Semperoper and the Dresden Castle. Gestern waren wir mit einigen Studenten im Deutschen Currywurst Museum! Dort teilten wir uns in zwei Teams auf und spielten ein Spiel, das darin bestand, die Antworten auf viele Fragen rund um die Currywurst im Museum zu finden. Wusstet ihr, dass man Currywurst in vielen anderen Teilen der Welt essen kann? Wir konnten auch verschiedene Gewürze riechen, die man auf die Currywurst machen kann und haben ein Computerspiel gespielt, bei dem man so schnell wie möglich Currywurst machen musste. Ah! Und wir konnten auch ein bisschen Currywurst probieren! 😛

Yesterday we went with some students to the German Currywurst Museum! There, we split into two teams and played a game which consisted of finding the answers to many questions about Currywurst in the museum. Did you know that they also eat Currywurst in many other parts of the world? We also got the chance to smell different spices that you can add on them and play a computer game where you had to make Currywurst as quickly as possible. Ah! And we got to try a little bit of Currywurst too! 😛

Während ich die letzten zwei Bilder gemacht habe, hat Martin leckere Currywurst gekauft. Später haben wir noch eine Portion Champignons mit Kräutersauce geteilt.
Wir haben diese Wurst am Stand eines alteingesessenen Soester Metzgers gekauft.

Der kalte Herbstregen prasselte mir ins Gesicht, als mich mit meiner Knipse bewaffnet, wieder einmal auf den Weg nach St.Pauli machte. Von den Docklands aus, übrigens auch bei Hamburger Schietwetter ein großartiger Ort, um in Melancholie zu schwelgen, fahre ich gerne mit meinem Lieblings-Verkehrsmittel - der Fähre- zu den Landungsbrücken, um von da aus zur Reeperbahn "hochzuklettern". Am Millerntor sollen in Kürze "Attraktionen auf Weltniveau" entstehen, um den St.Pauli Touristen schon am Eingang zu Hamburgs legendärem Vergnügungsviertel die Euros abzugraben. Bis es soweit ist, daß St.Pauli in der Hamburger Wertschöpfungskette wieder einen vorderen Rang einnimmt, kann man der Legende weiterhin beim Dahinsiechen zusehen. 540 Bilder
