Looking east along the shoreline in Little Current, Ontario on Manitoulin island. Here you can see the swing bridge connecting the island to the mainland to the north and the 'Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre'.

The power monitoring project uses three of these Fluke probes. As the label says, they output 1mA of current per amp of current in the monitored conductor. By putting that current through a precision power resistor, this is converted to a voltage proportional to the current.
