The Lunette has a flat tab-stem. This flat stem is more comfortable than hollow-tube style stems. Here I've cut off the protruding ridges on the stem and inverted them- this way I can still get a good grip on the stem for removal as well as not have to trim any of the length off.
This week I'll be busy, I've a lot of work... I'm working right now, but I wanted to do a break :)
I always use this dharma cup (hydra station) when I'm working, it has been with me a lot of long nights of work...

In search of the perfect cup of coffee. Part 2 of this short-lived interest :)
Out of curiosity, I decided to look for the perfect cup of coffee. We spend a sizable amount of time each day preparing, drinking, buying, or thinking about coffee so why not find the perfect cup of coffee in a photo? Not quite as easy... Some kind of in recurring mild infatuation :)
I've been secretly working on this new cup form and here are the first ones! Bigger, sleeker, new for 2010!
This is a kind of mug or cup used in the thermal waters to restore health. Beautiful with its gold handle. Hand painted. It was very common decades ago. Still in use today? Who knows....

I took pictures of just about every cup, saucer, mug and plate that I own and ended up using a trio of heirlooms. There were 9 little 'cakes' in the pack when I started taking pictures just after lunch...and above...what was left by this evening when I finally made up my mind on my entry :-)

When this photo was taken, the Wolves had won two Turner Cups (1998 & 2000) in the former International Hockey League (IHL) and two Calder Cups (2002 and 2008) as members of the American Hockey League. The Wolves would gone on to win the Calder Cup in 2022.

On May 9, 2023, the 26th annual Perlman Cup took place at Forsgate Country Club. This golf outing for women and is designed to accommodate beginners as well as experienced golfers. Dedicated to the memory of Bessie Cutter Perlman, the mother of Special Olympics New Jersey, this event honors her commitment to individuals with intellectual disabilities and her hope for a more inclusive community.

Ever wondered what it looks like on the Disneyland Tea Cups while looking up?
My friend and I shot this last week when the park was super busy and the lines for all the rides were really long. I had my camera, so we decided to have a little fun with long exposures. The Madhatter’s Tea Cups seemed like the logical starting place. When the ride started, we set the camera lens up on the turning wheel and let the fun begin. It was 30 seconds well spent in my opinion. I shot this with an ultra wide lens, but need to go back and do it with a fisheye on a full frame camera. If you look in the lower right corner, you can make out my friend’s hands and camera taking a picture during the exposure.
