Today The Chicago Blackhawks gave the fans a chance of a lifetime to take a picture with The Stanley Cup. I stood in line for 4 hours & the thrill of standing next to the Stanley Cup only lasted 40 seconds but it was worth the wait. Alright Blackhawks, let's do it again next year.

Got a little bored

Had one cup and cloned it in CS3, super fast and messy though!

Cups (plus saucers and plates) by the Danish Lyngby. There's 4 of each. Amazing flea market find!

A shot i did for Imbibe Magazine showing the size of a standard 6oz cappuccino, vs. a 20oz serving size (the big cup is 20oz to the rim).

Without it, I don't think I'd make it through the afternoon.

Há um bom tempo eu estava querendo personalizar uma caneca. Tinha a ideia e procurei a técnica ideal para se fazer. É uma experiência diferente pois a superfície não sendo plana foi um pouco mais dificil de fazer os traços. A ilustra foi feita com uma caneta Creative Marker da Compactor e levado ao forno por 90 minutos a 160º C para que o desenho não saia na lavagem.

My first experience doodling a cup. I used the pen Creative Marker of Compactor and after drawing I put in a oven for 90 minutes at 160º C. Nice try.

Twice fired surface with a matt turquoise over a shino glaze and cobalt blue wash. The inside is a glossy white with small areas where the cobalt pushed through from the outer clay surface during firing. In the sun small reflective mica particles show up. stamped and numbered on the bottom. adamwhatley.com
