Bought some ugly plastic bangles at the thrift shop. Then felted some sweaters. Covered the bangles with the sweaters. Fun!

This month the challenge was Fairy Tales, and well I was super excited. I knew exactly what I what I wanted to do as soon as the theme was announced.
I am in love with the Cheshire Cat and Alice in Wonderland (and Through the Looking Glass). I always have been. So of course I had to do a cuff in honor of my favorite stories.

Here is a cuff I made for poppysmum in the cuff swap. It is two crocheted poppies, stitched onto a 'natural' coloured piece of fabric, which I then hand-stitched together. The closure is two snap buttons.

This boot cuff is based closely on the popular Orbit Cowl (a DesigningVashti downloadable crochet pattern).
It's begun much the same way and is crocheted in a spiral. Keep going to make it as long and slouchy as you wish. Looks good inside out too.
