Was watching this Tawny Owl in an old tree in Gloucestershire recently, after about ten minutes the Owlet popped his head out to see what I was up to.

I got Phoebe's wig today. It was exactly what I had wanted for her. Now they look like sisters. They are so incredible and I can't even begin to explain how incredible it is that they are mine. I don't think I could have found two better dollies for me.

We also got pajamas today!

Santa gets a cuddle; after all he is my own sweetheart Santa and deserves eternal gratitude for making my life so happy.

Icelandic horses weigh between 330 and 380 kilograms (730 and 840 lb) and stand an average of 13 and 14 hands (52 and 56 inches, 132 and 142 cm) high, which is often considered pony size, but breeders and breed registries always refer to Icelandics as horses.

Several theories have been put forward as to why Icelandics are always called horses, among them the breed's spirited temperament and large personality. Another theory suggests that the breed's weight, bone structure and weight-carrying abilities mean it can be classified as a horse, rather than a pony.

The breed comes in many coat colors, including chestnut, dun, bay, black, gray, palomino, pinto and roan. There are over 100 names for various colors and color patterns in the Icelandic language. They have well-proportioned heads, with straight profiles and wide foreheads. The neck is short, muscular, and broad at the base; the withers broad and low; the chest deep; the shoulders muscular and slightly sloping; the back long; the croup broad, muscular, short and slightly sloping. The legs are strong and short, with relatively long cannon bones and short pasterns. The mane and tail are full, with coarse hair, and the tail is set low. The breed is known to be hardy and an easy keeper. The breed has a double coat developed for extra insulation in cold temperatures.

Maisie didn't want me to feel left out, so she popped over for a cuddle from me! Such a sweetie!

After Spunky returned from the shops, she spent some time with Binky.

.....And hid the candy in a better place. :p

Speaking of the bunns, love seeing them cuddle now

Macey normally sits next to me, whereas her brother sits next to my wife. She demands that I recline the sofa so that she can lie next to my leg.

Sock is a monster for cuddles and pets lately; if Scott gets anywhere near the floor, Sock is there and ready to show off his belly.. or wherever you'd like to pet.

Guess he managed to convince Scott that cuddles were mandatory this time around.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Our grandchildren were with us when we picked Mitzi up and Travis was able to quiet her on the ride home. Since then they have always had a close bond.

This was another "in between" moment...

She loves to cuddle :)

in the monsoon season it can get a bit chilly in the mornings, spotted these monkeys cuddling together to stay warm.

quando ci sono i monsoni ce un po di freschetto la mattina... ho beccato queste scimmie che dormivano abbracciati per scaldarsi.

With my Fender Boy. He always knows how to make me feel better :)

Oh, this little guy... Getting these two have me happy, they're so sweet and adorable. And way more interactive than I ever really thought they'd be. They're like little dogs!

Peanut is doing much better. He's on another round of (a different) antibiotic and it seems to really be helping him. He's not sneezing or coughing like he was and seems to be having an easier time breathing. He's put on an ounce and kept it on (which makes me insanely happy). He's perky and happy and squeaks and wheeks like he used to. He's just a little cuddle love bug again. ;)

Bullwinkle is leaving him alone now. He will rumble after him and then start popcorning and making squeaky sounds himself, so he's not terrorizing him anymore, which is awesome. Guess the bath worked!

I myself have been in an odd mood for the past 2 days. A family member passed and though I wasn't close, it makes my mind wander and I feel like I'm stuck in an alternate reality. Outside i'm functioning fine and you'd never know, inside I'm not sure what's going on. Going out of town tomorrow for the funeral and decided since I was going to be off Friday anyway just to take Thursday off too. I need a break anyway.

But, these photos make me smile, no matter what. :)

3 female baboons cuddling at the Edinburgh Zoo

I was waiting in my car at least one hour. The male sat on the eggs but the female had gone away to eat. When she came back I was ready to shoot this gorgeous cuddle moment.

Hickory tussock moth caterpillar - (I believe) and they are NOT cuddly! Their hairy spines are considered poisonous, causing skin irritations if handled. If this one was hoping to wrap in a leaf he needs to think bigger!
