The days when Barney struggled away from you if you tried to hug him are long gone. Now, when he's not sprawled at my feet, waiting for a tummy rub, he's trying to curl up on my lap like a giant cat! I had been patting him before I took this shot, he very slowly put first one paw, then another on my lap... then just sat staring at me, waiting for me to cave in and pick him up... he didn't have to wait long! Those collie eyes are irresistible :)
I hope you all had a good week, and have a great weekend! I am pleased to say, I managed to get my coursework done (a 4000 word essay, amongst other things...). I plan on having a nice break this weekend, then only one more week to go before I go home for the month long Easter holidays!! Yay!

In light of our current crisis, I have decided to issue a world-wide cuddle in place order. Your obedience is required.
Everytime one of them falls asleep, the other one gives the sleeper a little sniff on the nose and they keep waking each other up. To me it seems like they're in disbelief and want to keep making sure it's for real haha!
This momma and baby elephant at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, California, were having so much fun together. I liked the expression on both the mother and baby's faces.
Kae always seems lonely... he needs a daily fix of cuddletimes~~ That doesn't mean Mr. Williams can steal my sheepie because I'm too busy to give him his hug!! D: You can totally tell Mr. Williams likes to take advantage. *coughcough*

July 7, 2011-Cuddling with Mom. These four kittens were born under my ramp. I could't see them as the mother hid them well from Jasper and me. But when I was outside I would hear their meows. My neighbor who's cat this is came over and was going to move them to her house, but she couldn't get to them. A few days later she found the kittens on her front door steps. Animals just amaze me. I'm sick. Like, going-through-a-box-of-Kleenex-an-hour sick. I'm pretty sure the sickness comes from this time when i sat my ass in a pile of snow and pretended to drink tea for the sake of a photo i have yet to edit because i'm too sick to spend any time on anything. I suspect the photo will not have been worth it, but we shall see.
For now, i'm crawling back to the couch to take back the spot the cats have been keeping warm for me...
A pair of young superb fairy wrens cuddling together. I was extremely lucky to watch the father hunting for bugs and coming back to feed them. The father and kids didn't mind me watching at all. Mount Tomah is a the best place I have ever been for bird photography! More pics at www.sydneynature.com.
