En la localidad grananina de Huescar, a unos 17 kilometros de la misma, se encuentra el Embalse de San Clemente, recogiendo las aguas del Rio Guardal.
Su capacidad es de 117,3 hectometros cúbicos, siendo empleada mayoritariamente para riego, mientras que la presa es de materiales sueltos, con núcleo de arcilla, de planta recta y cuenta con aliviadero con perfil Creager de 206 metros de longitud de canal de desagüe. Sus tres vanos de 8 metros de ancho por 3 metros de alto regulados por compuertas tipo "Taintor" permiten desaguar un caudal máximo de 830 metros cubicos por segundo.
A pesar de la actual sequía, este embalse, desde su inauguración en el año 1992, por el Ministro Borrell, jamás ha estado lleno, aunque siempre recibe agua, y es debido a su mala construccion con perdidas de agua, es decir, una maravillosa obra arquitectonica bien realizada por el Gobierno de España, y que 31 años despues sigue sin solucion.

In dem kubischen Gebäude aus rotem Backstein wurde hinter den gotischen Fensteröffnungen im Obergeschoss ein Teezimmer eingerichtet. Der Mittelpfeiler der offenen Halle im Erdgeschoss stand als Symbol für die Linde oder Eiche, unter der die öffentlichen Gerichtsverhandlungen stattfanden.

A tea room was set up in the cubic building made of red brick behind the Gothic window openings on the upper floor. The central pillar of the open hall on the ground floor symbolized the linden or oak tree under which the public hearings took place.

Well well well. Beautiful stairs isn't it? Italian renaissance in a fancy building of downtown Milan. Beautiful by itself but I felt the need to edit it a bit.
Make it a bit darker, may be because of the actual ambient mood, may be because I haven't been Urban Exploring lately, I don't know. Whatever.
That give me a chance to discuss what I call "editing haters". You know, all the people who are going to yell "that's not the real picture ! you're cheating". Yes, I admit it. But you know what? We've reached a technologic point where reality can be perfectly transfered on a picture with a camera at the cutting edge of progress and I think that today, artistic photography is no longer about "transfering reality" but "translating reality". (We can make a comparison with the evolution of painting technics after the beginning of photography : painters don't try to reproduce things "perfectly" because they know they won't do it better than a camera.
Do you really think that people would say to Rembrandt "Hey buddy, you should stop your clair obscur, there is no way you can have those contrast naturally !" ?
When you're editing a picture to make it more moody, to make it more expressive or to try to transmit to the observer what you were feeling when you took it, you are not cheating, you are creating.
Be open guys, opening yourself is giving the unknown or the uncommon a chance.

Lago de Ercina, Asturias, España.
El lago de la Ercina es un pequeño lago de montaña del norte de España, localizado en los Picos de Europa, en la cordillera Cantábrica. Está próximo al lago Enol y juntos forman el conjunto conocido como Lagos de Covadonga, en el Principado de Asturias, dentro del parque nacional de los Picos de Europa.
Este lago es de dimensiones (tomadas en absoluto) menores que el lago Enol, y su capacidad cúbica también es más baja. El lago de La Ercina está a 1108 m de altitud y su profundidad máxima es de 3 m.
Las características de similitud con el lago Enol están ligadas a su origen (ambos tienen un origen glaciar) y por supuesto, su situación geográfica, ya que ambos lagos se encuentran separados por la Picota de Enol mediando entre ellos una distancia inferior a seiscientos metros.
Lake Ercina is a small mountain lake in northern Spain, located in the Picos de Europa, in the Cantabrian Mountains. It is close to Lake Enol and together they form the group known as Lakes of Covadonga, in the Principality of Asturias, within the Picos de Europa National Park.
This lake is of dimensions (taken at all) smaller than Lake Enol, and its cubic capacity is also lower. Lake La Ercina is at an altitude of 1108 m and its maximum depth is 3 m.
The characteristics of similarity to Lake Enol are linked to its origin (both have a glacial origin) and, of course, its geographical location, since both lakes are separated by the Picota de Enol, with a distance of less than six hundred meters between them.
