M demonstrates her "knitting face"...which we always use on the people waiting for cubbies games.
She normally wouldn't wear such an outspokenly tourist scarf, but its all Walgreen's had! Ha! We were freezing! Freezing in May!
Cubby Allan
In March I lost the love of my life my Mum and I went downhill very quickly. I was diagnosed with clinical depression and just thought life wasn't worth it. In August 2010 whilst I was at work, my two colleagues were talking about their cats and how much they meant to them.
I got onto The Lost Dogs' Home website and there she was. Her profile picture just touched my heart and I knew she was the one. I have named her Cubby. She was the most beautiful creature I have ever come across.
Whilst completing the adoption paperwork she just lied down on her back in front of me and I just fell in love even more. We went home on the train. As soon as I got her home, she climbed up on the couch and sat next to me. That night I looked up at the sky and the stars that I picked as my Mum and Dad were shinning so brightly, so I knew my parents loved her and are with her in spirit. I have taken her to the cemetery and we have both sat down and I introduced her to them. I just can't believe something so small could give so much love.
Cubby has met her Aunties and Uncles (my Brothers and Sisters) and I tell her every night that her Grandparents are looking down at her with love. She sleeps in my bed and I take her for drives even though she would prefer to get behind the wheel! She is my baby girl and I truly love her so much.
Thank you Judy Allan

Cubby is playful and endearing, but not much of a cuddler. She is always in “kitten mode” zooming here and there, wadding up the floor blanket and chasing after toys. Cubby is good with other cats and around dogs. She has not been around children much and might be a better choice for older, calm children. Cubby has been with us since 9/21/2008.
Ok, this was from the government storage, it used to be used for mail sorting. I love it, but looking at this picture it really needs to be tiedied up.
These cubbies are in our lounge, and this is how we opted to organize them. Hawk's toys and instruments are in reach, above that are the computer materials and daily drop box (keys, mail, etc), and above that, files for business and home. on top, one of hawk's trunks (currently empty) and all of the books we brought with us. Hawk's "precious" books are kept up top, and brought down when he wants to read. His card board books are kept with his toys
