When you enter the room, there's a little cubby by the door. This is where you ditch your lame shoes for some spiffy little house slippers and get comfy in a robe.
Oh, and when you leave you can use the convenient shoe horn to get back into your dirty outdoor shoes.
Cubby Allan
In March I lost the love of my life my Mum and I went downhill very quickly. I was diagnosed with clinical depression and just thought life wasn't worth it. In August 2010 whilst I was at work, my two colleagues were talking about their cats and how much they meant to them.
I got onto The Lost Dogs' Home website and there she was. Her profile picture just touched my heart and I knew she was the one. I have named her Cubby. She was the most beautiful creature I have ever come across.
Whilst completing the adoption paperwork she just lied down on her back in front of me and I just fell in love even more. We went home on the train. As soon as I got her home, she climbed up on the couch and sat next to me. That night I looked up at the sky and the stars that I picked as my Mum and Dad were shinning so brightly, so I knew my parents loved her and are with her in spirit. I have taken her to the cemetery and we have both sat down and I introduced her to them. I just can't believe something so small could give so much love.
Cubby has met her Aunties and Uncles (my Brothers and Sisters) and I tell her every night that her Grandparents are looking down at her with love. She sleeps in my bed and I take her for drives even though she would prefer to get behind the wheel! She is my baby girl and I truly love her so much.
Thank you Judy Allan
