oh dinner was fab this week
papi really came through
the beets and bib lettuce are for sunday
but tonight papi tossed together a slaw
(if i may) that was to die for
and who could disagree
with fresh rocket salad
for sure not mama and me neither
The CSA delivery for the week. More kale than you can shake a fist at. Particularly nice flower share this time.

I really need to work on my CSA pictures. I was trying to catch the last of the sunlight today but the skies opened up not long after I made it home with our CSA harvest.
Week 5 harvest:
- 4 lbs. Sugar Snap Peas (yes, 4!)
- 1/2 lb. Dragon Langerie
- 1/2 lb. Green Beans
- 1 head Garlic
- 1 bunch Japanese Turnips
- 1 bunch Carrots
- 2 heads lettuce
- 1/3 lb. Baby Kale
I am very tired of Japanese turnips. This is our third pickup with a bunch of them. On the new front, I've never seen or cooked with Dragon Langerie. Anyone have ideas?
