SUMMER HERE I COME. I AM SO EXCITED! Today was my last day of school and now I am officially on summer vacation. Now I have no excuse for not taking pictures so hopefully I will get this project back on track.
Oofta.. I am so behind.
p.s. 6/4/2015: Thank you all for visiting, comments and favs. So many young lives were brutally smashed 26 years ago, this is the small part I can do for them.

and yes, my mood is blue
Crazy
Crazy, I'm crazy for feeling so lonely.
I'm crazy, crazy for feeling so blue.
I knew, you'd love me as long as you wanted,
And then someday you'd leave me for somebody new.
Worry, why do I let myself worry,
Wond'ring, what in the world did I do.
Crazy, for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying and crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you.
Crazy, for thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for trying and crazy for crying
And I'm crazy for loving you.

This crisp cool morning I am weeping.
I awoke with a chill in the air and now my petals are trembling.
Gentle rains are my friend but I now cry because I feel Autumn sneaking her way into my world.
Was not posed or planed. this was a truly emotional moment for me. i try to make my photos very true to me, as in reflecting my life in its most beautiful and tragic times. I have been a little off schedule lately, but I plan to post more very soon.
I love the sound of the red winged blackbirds calling out by the water. Yesterday morning was filled with that sound. Must be the Spring-like weather we're having (Apologies to the places that are still experiencing harsh winter weather!). At the Tualatin Hills Wetlands near Beaverton, Oregon.
It comes from the ancient belief that the swan stays silent its entire life, only to sing a beautiful song just before it dies. "Wild Swans" is thus the emotional heart of The Lost Birds--one final, impassioned cry, before the birds' songs recede into the long silence of extinction

I saw Ólafur Arnalds playing this song. I saw him feeling the sounds and his thoughts so very deeply. Tears ran down my cheeks like they did when I took this picture while thinking about this song.

my favourite song lately. (aside from young frankenstein the musical)
it was my birthday, and i drove to my aunt and uncle's house in santa monica (correction: my mother drove; my car is in the shop til mid-february.) where we went to see benjamin button, and then had dinner.
benjamin button was the most beautiful movie i've ever seen, and i was crying from the very first scene. the end made me sob. it's weird to sob in theatres. for the hour following the showing, i couldn't fight the longing to lay in bed and wail into my pillow. i love movies like that.
for my birthday, i got $100 from my aunt/uncle, and a 50mm f/1.8 lens (EXCITED) from my mom. michael's gift is still in transit, as he ordered it. hmm.
