Junior gymnast Rachel Goldenberg flips during her vault at the National Tournament at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center on Friday. She scored a 9.175 to help her team earn a total of 49.000 on vault.
This child threw a bit of a temper tantrum and rather than indulging her, the parents decided to leave her to cry it off. I managed to get this shot whilst there were no people walking in the way.
Rose leaf crying. The water drops were colored by the leaf. So here is another leaf photo, but a nice one, I think.

Weeping Widow fungi (Science name: Lacrymaria lacrymabunda) release 'tears', a dark coloured watery droplets. They are suppose to be black and some are, but most had much lighter colours as can be seen on the upturned sample.

The ospreys have just returned to southern Connecticut. This particular one was photographed in Guilford, Connecticut. I was extremely fortunate, to be able to get this good an image of one of these remarkable birds!
