Yesterday, I disposed of my not-so-old gas BBQ grill because the bottom had rusted/rotted away. This seems to happen about every 3-4 years, and often comes around Father's Day. So today I bought a new Weber grill that is supposed to last a few more years. My wife picked up some ribs at the store to try it out. The results were quite spectacular!
I was fortunate to catch up with a small flock of 6 Bearded Tits in a small reedbed in Invergowrie Bay recently, before 4 of them departed for pastures new, with the remaining 2 following 2 days later. They were found by Mark Wilkinson initially 2 days before but windy conditions made my 2 attempts to see them fairly pointless. Calmer conditions on the 3rd day meant I finally got to see them - and photograph them.
