Graffiti in Irving Park, Chicago, May 19, 2011.

I painted these plates for Harper's little boy cousins.

This Burger and Crossbones t shirt lets everyone know what you're like !!

I started a random new project with some cheap wrenches and a skull with light up eyes. I still need to make some adjustments but I rather like how it's turning out.

From my "Naughty & Nice" pair. This was my first attempt at double-knitting.

Good breakfast and good service in this piratical Keys eatery just north of Sugarloaf Key on Memorial Day weekend

A Skull and Crossbones Memento Mori etched into a gravestone in St Mary's churchyard in Hale, Halton.

I have no idea who is buried here. The gravestone has been worn to the point where no trace of an inscription remains. I think it probably dates to the late 1700's and early 1800's, after which this style of decoration fell out of fashion.

So, FYI this bothers me in all kinds of ways. (I didn't tag this tree, someone else did)

A shot taken during a trip to Elgin Cathedral in Scotland.

"Begun in 1224, Elgin was the principal church of the bishops of Moray. It lost its roof shortly after the Protestant Reformation of 1560, and later its central tower fell. But the cathedral’s fortunes began to change when it became a visitor attraction in the early 1800s." (Words & further info: www.historicenvironment.scot/visit-a-place/places/elgin-c... )
