Southwark, South East London. The location of the long lost prostitutes cemetary. Containing the bodies of hundreds of women, stillborn children and paupers. Closed and subsequently lost in 1853 it was rediscovered in the 1990's during building work. Visitors and locals have left tributes and gifts for the "Outcast Dead" tied to the gates.
This door leads out into the mission's cemetery, behind the mission. The builder put a skull and crossbones design over the door, to 'prevent evil spirits' from disturbing anything. The window above shows the reflection of the sky and trees over the cemetery walls.
When we got Sully, I decided he had to have skulls and crossbones on most of his belongings. This is his food bowl (which at times doubles as a favorite chew toy).
Taken using an off-camera flash (Nikon SB-600), and a Nikon D7000.
Assembled in photoshop and processed with various Hue/Gradient masks.

8" buttercake filled with buttercream & iced with fondant.
Was for a 7th birthday for my neighbours little boy. His favourite colours are pink & purple but I didn't want to put too much pink in there...try to keep it a little masculine ;-)
Design from PC cake book.

Crossbones Cemetery, Redcross Way, Southwark.
A cemetery for prostitutes licensed (pimped) by the Bishops of Winchester Palace in Southwark. When they died, after years of paying their dues to the church from their work, they were buried in this unconsecrated ground by the bishops. Later it became a burial ground for paupers, still unconscrated. It is believed that there are 15,000 people, men women and children buried here.

This necklace is big and bold and badass!
This skull and crossbones 30X40mm cameo is on an antiqued silver plated setting. It's perfect for the summer, it's perfect for anytime! The size of the actual pendant is about 2.5"x2" (6cmx5cm). The pendant hangs from a silver plated chain that is about 18" (46cm) long and closes with a spring clasp.
Lovingly made by the Dame in her smoke-free, pet-friendly studio in Ottawa, Canada
