I bought this cross in a very interesting shop in Toronto. I've had this for years. I bought it because my paternal Grandmother is Irish.

SUNSET - Spring - Easter Eve - 4/3/21

*{Cross: it just appeared. Laura saw it first. It seems to be a

refection from windows of another close foreground building.

Could it possibly be shining "through" the building!?! The strong

sun is 'blaring' directly behind it!?! I don't know, but probably not.

Cross was only there for seven minutes... and then it was gone]

Cross Bones Graveyard in Southwark began life as a burial ground for licenced prostitutes or Winchester Geese and eventually became a pauper's graveyard. Apparenetly it is still dense with the bones of the dead. This odd little shrine has accumulated with offerings from local people. It is an odd and moving place . I think the site is up for development...and controversially seeing its history.

Thus Christ’s suffering has, so to speak, an exemplary quality: this, it says, is what the world is like, a world that crucifies its God, that crucifies compassion, that crucifies beauty.

Cross stitch of a phrase I saw at Bitterstitch.

I haven't decided if it's really finished yet. Got a feeling I should add something, but I'm not sure what.

I found this tiny cross on the ground, which was just fallen bits of debris during a reroofing project. It most likely came from debris inside the old gutters that randomly formed this shape. I already had my camera in hand to document the work, so I took some pictures and left it where it fell.

Taken on a memorable morning six years ago now - Class 52 No D1015 'Western Champion' rounds the curve at Clay Cross working the Pathfinders Tours 'Yuletide East Yorkshireman' (Swindon-Scarborough).

The Crossrail construction site at Tottenham Court Road. Tunnels linking the platforms to the main concourse.

These fine falls are in a grand location on Cross Gill, they are about 4 metres high.

Thanks for your faves and comments!

I wanted more clouds in this shot but apparently the weather wouldn't allow for that. Either way it was fun testing out a new lens and shooting at a new location.
