Instruction are given for beanie and sunflower as the finishing touch.
You can try a color that matches or contrast with kids outfits !You can also try it in with in different yarns.
The sunflower measures approx.6,5" (16,5sm)
The hat pattern I used to make this hat in the Winter 2008 Interweave Crochet magazine is probably not a beginning hat pattern because it switches colors. The hat could certainly be made using one color. Since the hat only uses one type of stitch this might be a great beginning hat pattern.
