Free crochet pattern:
The Decoration on the picture is crochet with some leftover acrylic yarn I had (yellow, green, orange and red) and a
3mm crochet hook
The little crochet circle is 8 cm Ø
The crochet heart is 13 x 12 cm
I crochet every piece twice so front and back look the same. In that way you can even hang it in your window or wherever you want to. And it gives a better shape and more stability to the Decoration.
Both (circle and heart) would look very pretty as applications too.
You can find the pattern on Ravelry or if you are not on Ravely I can sent a pdf via email :o)

Have fun with it :o)
This is a set of pattern I had designed, more flower patterns coming for spring.
A ruffled pansy doily and violets set is coming... stay tuned ;-)
This is a pattern from the 30s for a shell stitch bag. If you love those vintage crochet bags, maybe you can try your hand at one; hopefully this pattern is not too difficult, I haven't tried it out yet. It uses gimp thread but could be substituted with yarn or thread with similar qualities. If you don't feel like crocheting in rounds for the handle, I'm sure there are simpler methods of making one, using a premade or vintage frame or rescue an old bag handle you no longer use.
You can see the instructions in the blow up mode.

Today, the Hereios are sharing Thirteen Things about themselves, so I thought it was an ideal opportunity for a cliché. Socks are cliché and so is cloning, so HCS!
1. I have made 13 pairs of socks for myself.
2. I also have 3 pairs of socks that other people have made for me in swaps.
3. When I was putting the socks on for this shot I discovered that the first pair I made have a whole in the sole.
4. I don't have any of that yarn left to darn them with. :(
5. The sock in the middle was a nice thick woolly sock with a pretty raindrop lace pattern, but my husband put it in the washer and then the dryer by mistake, so now it is felted and the right size for a seven year old.
6. I like knitting socks because they're small and portable and easy for me to remember the pattern.
7. I've hardly knit any socks in the last year, because I've made so many blanket squares and been doing my 365 Days SP project.
8. I have two different unfinished socks ready to take away on holiday with me, since I won't be driving and socks won't be too hot to knit.
9. I have also chosen some crochet patterns for doing on the plane. I know the TSA don't mind knitting needles on planes, but no-one seems to have told Manchester and I can't be bothered to have a fight with the security guards.
10. One of the socks is on two very long circular needles so I could use them as garottes if I so wished, so it's maybe a good thing they'll be in my checked luggage.
11. I haven't done anyway near enough of he things on my to do list before I go on holiday and instead of getting on with them, I'm making jam and making clone shots.
12. I use Flickr rather like I use Ravelry - as a tool for procrastination.
13. I am so excited about going on my jolly-holly-days that I think I might burst before I get on the plane!
