I love the bright colours of these cute little crochet scrubbies. I made them out of lovely cotton worsted weight yarn and my pattern is available in my etsy shop. See my profile for details.
Scrubbies are used to gently cleanse and exfoliate the face, and can be used with cleanser or makeup remover. Then they can be washed and reused.

This was a gift for my new-born nephew, Omer.
It was a family project done by almost all the women in my family: my mom, my two aunts, my sister, my two cousins, and of course me.
It took us 2 months, and 27 different colors of green and blue.

Free crochet pattern:
The Decoration on the picture is crochet with some leftover acrylic yarn I had (yellow, green, orange and red) and a
3mm crochet hook
The little crochet circle is 8 cm Ø
The crochet heart is 13 x 12 cm
I crochet every piece twice so front and back look the same. In that way you can even hang it in your window or wherever you want to. And it gives a better shape and more stability to the Decoration.
Both (circle and heart) would look very pretty as applications too.
You can find the pattern on Ravelry or if you are not on Ravely I can sent a pdf via email :o)

Have fun with it :o)
Receiving no formal training in fashion design Sally Omeme learned to knit in the early 2000’s. It wasn’t until She attended the John Casablancas Institute in August 2011, her dream of becoming a knitwear designer was encouraged by her instructors. She knit her first collection for the John Casablancas Institute fashion show Empyrean on May 24, 2012,
As a newly emerging knitwear designer, Sally Omeme has bright hopes for the future. Never afraid to experiment using different fabrics. The entire collection for Eco Fashion Week has been created using second hand materials.
When not knitting, she continues to pursue her passion projects of writing, creating, working on photo shoots, and dreaming up other passion projects.

This is a set of pattern I had designed, more flower patterns coming for spring.
A ruffled pansy doily and violets set is coming... stay tuned ;-)
This is a pattern from the 30s for a shell stitch bag. If you love those vintage crochet bags, maybe you can try your hand at one; hopefully this pattern is not too difficult, I haven't tried it out yet. It uses gimp thread but could be substituted with yarn or thread with similar qualities. If you don't feel like crocheting in rounds for the handle, I'm sure there are simpler methods of making one, using a premade or vintage frame or rescue an old bag handle you no longer use.
You can see the instructions in the blow up mode.
