"Finally, MASE Crew get together to make this gigantic wall. This is the first wall that we did with the crew's since Abang8 was in Jakarta. The concept basically was writing "MASE" with their individual styles and they only allow to used one color scheme. The spot was more than 30m long, and the weather was crazy, it was poured with rain. On the first day, when we got there we couldn't do shit because the spot was flooding..." -nsane5

A recently refurbished 45060 'Sherwood Forester' has arrived at Birmingham New Street. Waiting to take over the new crew are standing near the cab as the previous driver collects his belongings. On the platform a father and son lurk in the hope of cabbing the loco before it continues its inter-regional journey.
The loco was built at Crewe Works as D100, it entered traffic 08/05/1961. It was withdrawn 08/12/1985. It is preserved and owned by the Pioneer Diesel Group.
This and a number of other negatives were photographed with my Minolta Autocord 6cm x 6cm, they were taken on days when I was out with my wife. The films were stored separately from my railway files and are undated and unprinted. I suspect this was taken around 1980 as I went 6 x 4.5 later that year.

Zoo Crew Bright Bunch Pencil Toppers capsule toys. There are 10 zoo animals: gorilla, fox, penguin, bear, owl, panda, frog, tiger, zebra and orca. The animals come in six colors: red, orange, yellow, neon green, blue and magenta.
I have nine of the animals, just need the orca.
The crew aboard a pretty fresh-looking CP 8075, just arrived into Portage, Wisconsin on the point of an eastbound manifest, steps off as the local crew boards their power.

The Crew Dragon capsule carrying ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer and NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron home from the International Space Station splashed down off the coast of Florida, USA, on Friday 6 May 2022 at 05:43 BST/06:43 CEST.
Its return marks the end of Crew-3’s almost six-month stay in orbit and the end of Matthias’s first mission, known as Cosmic Kiss.
Crew-3 undocked from the International Space Station in Crew Dragon spacecraft Endurance at 06:20 BST/07:20 CEST Thursday 5 May.
When a Crew capsule splashes down, it is met by nearby ships with experts ready to bring it on board, open the hatch, and welcome the astronauts home. After initial medical checks, the crew is transported by helicopter to shore.
Now that his mission has come to an end, Matthias will return to ESA’s European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, where he will participate in post-flight debriefings, provide samples for scientific evaluation and readapt to Earth’s gravity with the support of ESA experts.

The captain and crew of the SS Dungeness out of Glasgow pose for a photograph in Irelands oldest city, Waterford! A nice cheerful group to start our week while outside the sun is shining and all is well with the world!
The general consensus is that the location and date here are very likely correct and as expected (the Waterford quays, perhaps opposite Ferrybank, in August 1910). Based on this the suggestion is that the captain was then Capt. John Henderson. Who perhaps moved on to another Clyde Shipping Co. vessel in late 1910 or early 1911. We like [https://www.flickr.com/photos/johnspooner]'s suggestion that this was somehow a "farewell" commission by or for the crew. Other interesting details and images of the vessel linked from the ever-interesting comments....

The SpaceX unveil event of Crew Dragon, the next generation spacecraft designed to carry astronauts to Earth orbit and beyond. The spacecraft will be capable of carrying up to seven crewmembers, landing propulsively almost anywhere on Earth, and refueling and flying again for rapid reusability. As a modern, 21st century manned spacecraft, Crew Dragon will revolutionize access to space.
Amtrak's Lorton, VA switch crew takes a quick break to pose for the photographer during their afternoon duties building the Auto Train. In 1985, it was apparently no problem for an un-ticketed 12 year old and his grandfather to wander around the Auto Train facility with a camera.
Not every day on the railroad is going to be a good one. Typically, one crew is able to make it to Portland, or at least close to it, from Waterville. On duty at 2300, this train encountered a broken airhose in the morning blocking most of the crossings in Auburn. The 2 hour ordeal was certainly stressful, for which I feel bad from the crew who blocked many crossings in town. They finally made it almost to 231 when their relief came, and a short trip to the hotel to sleep off the troubled trip.
