Creature is a cross-disciplinary project led by SDNA in collaboration with pioneering digital media artists, neuro-scientists, electronic musicians, dancers and physical performers, and explores the ways in which we can bring fictional creatures into existence within a live art and theatrical context. The first stage of research focused on the exploration of the ideal conditions needed for the human imagination to conjure visions of a “Creature.”

Best shot of the finished model. Once I got my butt in gear, the model took less than a week to complete from beginning to end. Sorry it took me so long to get started on it Steve!

Vanox Creature nest
Trying to escape. A man stumbles upon a nest full of squishy vanox eggs. Vanox nests are almost like a collection of jelly fish waiting to hatch. Very nasty indeed! especially when guarded by a floating vanox!
