I think I'm going to call this finished. I could noodle in more details and fix that bottom most head... maybe some other time though. Best viewed big methinks.

This creature was inspired by the book; “After Man” by Dougal Dixon. It might look like a dinosaur, but it is in fact a creature that has evolved from our own tortoise and lives in the far future on an Earth where humans have died out. Far from being a slow lumbering creature it is a fast efficient hunter. The picture was drawn using marker pens, coloured pencil and gouache paint.
I was asked by www.flickr.com/photos/51075717@N00/ to design a page for a silkscreened, handmade book in a limited edition of 200. So here is my submission. Hope you like it. Feel free to leave a comment. :)

The icing on the cake-- using my friend Johnny's bamboo skewer technique (use a 4b pencil, then use bamboo to 'pull and push' the lead where you want it) on the abdomen to give it a translucent quality.
