I’d like to present my entry to the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 - Bob’s Café and Johnny’s Bakery!

It has a chance to become a limited edition LEGO set, so if you like it, please consider voting for it! - www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/414/Bob's-...

The set idea contains two buildings: the corner building has a café on the ground floor, a LEGO fan's apartment on the first floor, and a nice, cosy roof terrace. The second building has a small bakery on the ground floor and a small apartment on the first floor; but there's also an attic where minifigures can store their old stuff they're not using.

These houses are modular, which means you can connect them using technic pins and you can also easily remove/add multiple floors to them, and they’re compatible with the new LEGO road system. They have a much smaller footprint than classic modular buildings, but the facades and interiors are really detailed, so I hope AFOLs and younger builders will like this set.

Native American tribes were likely to have known about the falls for centuries, and William Clark made note about hearing of their existence during the Lewis and Clark Expedition. But the first European to lay eyes on the Lower Yellowstone Falls was likely French fur trapper Baptise Ducharme who claimed to see the sight in 1824, 1826 and 1839. The earliest known drawings were recorded in 1870 during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition by Private Charles Moore. And then in 1871, William Henry Jackson captured the first photographs of the falls. To this day, people travel from from all over the world visit this cascade which carved out the majestic yellow stone canyon.

Blog: G is for ghosts... the birth and rise of spirit photography

A woman's face appears in 'misty' drapes around the man. He was said to have been asked to sit for a photograph by a voice heard at a seance held on 6 May 1923.

This man had also identified the 'spirit' of his deceased first wife in an earlier photograph. He now identified this 'spirit' as his deceased second wife.
