"Creativity is contagious, pass it on."-Albert Einstein
Digital
Extra Credit.
I was drawn to this quote because I find it very true. Just as happiness is considered contagious, I believe creativity is as well. It was much easier finding the words and letters this time; I had many more options because I was able to zoom in and focus closer than before on my 35mm camera. Since it was a digital assignment, I was able to review my images and take multiples to make sure I had the correct images. I also did not crop any of my images. This is almost a "redo of the film assignment," therefore, I would say that I was able to redo any previous mistakes and fix them.

Much of the Cambodian cooking is infused with imagination. Spiders, dogs, snakes, waterbirds and everything imagineable are sold at markets or cooked in street stalls. I'm not sure whether it's better to know or not know what you're actually eating!
This market seller is selling mostly vegetables with the exception of the tray on his direct right which boasts a bright orange variety of something... rumours had it that it was a water bird, others said it was ox tongue and others still proposed that it was a large reptile. One thing is for sure - none of us were game to try it!

In figure drawing class, we had to transfer people from newspapers onto the same page with our model. The two male characters were from print-outs the teacher made. I then added my "flair"--turned the guy into a lucha libre, added sunglasses, mallet, tail, winged nikes, and wings (needs a little more work).
The same kind of criteria applies to our final project. No clue what I'll be doing, because I still need to get me a newspaper for sauce.
A piece of the Swap-Bot "10 Day Creativity Challenge." I had a great time -- it was really a push to make something different for 10 days in a row. A dear friend of mine died in the middle of the 10 days, and it was nice to have a project to keep me busy. My partner gave me some great hints about herself on her blog, so I ended up doing an Amelie/gnome/mushroom theme. I really enjoyed the challenge!

Anarcho Primitivism: restrained, ravaged, coarse, wild, stranded, isolated, weathered and revolutionary. The literal and figurative idea of being tied to nature.A thematic developed from a primitive and traditional driven view of society, to the wild that exists within those who criticize advancements,to the restraining of said critics. Balancing survival, existence and progression.I have developed my inspirations from earthy and rugged fibers, materials and silhouettes. A torturous relationship with technology and nature
