The Industrial Design Society of America went all out with a three-pack of custom interior Scout Books, complete with a pull out section! Rod Hunting is a designer and illustrator with some seriously stunning work in his portfolio. His delicate drawings are at once sophisticated and crafty; they're slick yet ooze evidence of the artist's hand at work. Peep his portfolio and get lost in lovely illustration.
Also, while you're at it, check out his installation of vintage camera drawings. It makes the analog nerds around here quite happy.
Rod filled his Scout Book with space-y pencil illustrations. Rod! I mean, Rad!
From the creator of 33 Bottles of Beer and 33 Bottles of Wine comes 33 Cups of Coffee. And none too soon as the Winter months are in full swing! Nothing comes close to a piping hot cup of coffee when it's chilly out.
In true 33 Books fashion, this journal comes complete with a flavor wheel, demystifier, and of course, a little something in the ink! That’s right, a few drops of coffee were added to the ink during the printing of this book.
So head over to your favorite coffee shop or brew some up at home and start your coffee-tasting journey with 33 Cups of Coffee in hand!
These pocket notebooks were created by Pilot to be used as giveaways and note taking tools for a workshop they held with a client. Pilot's plan is to create a series of Scout Books – one for each workshop as they continue to hold them. The bold illustration style used on this Scout Book translates really well on the chipboard.

Girls Can Tell is a small screen printing shop in Philadelphia. Their Etsy shop is chock-full of useful items, including these Scout Books illustrated with informative and beautiful diagrams by Sara Selepouchin. I think my favorite is the brain. I like that idea–perfect for a pocket notebook! I only wish I could write directly into my brain. The quest for more memory continues.
