Please meet my little sister Alice ;) Everybody says "Hi Alice!".
(She's passionate about art, so I could have called this picture Alice in wonderland... but I actually didn't dare. Also: she has a very Springsteen posture that I like a lot!)
This week, the new Flickr Friday theme is Creative Commons. This theme inspired me to create the Flickr's Creative Commons Museum, in which photos, amazing photos, that generous people have licensed CC BY, are displayed.

Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens. Near Downtown, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside promenade.

Ice Plant. Eventually this whole ridge will be magenta colored, but for now, just one flower head in a hill of succulent green.

i am harvesting these as a whole head at a time rather than continuous removal of leaves.
I think this was the only tree that fell in my local area in the recent winds.
It just happened to be one that had a very recent "no tresspassing" sign on it.
