Our new City History Museum will tell the fascinating story of Bristol through many People's Voices and Experiences...

The artwork you see here on the hoardings has been created by a group of young Bristolians who have painted their Perfect Bristol. They have worked closely with Museum Staff to create Images which they hope will become a Real Talking Point...

The Bristol Industrial Museum closed in 2006 and was transformed into the M Shed. The conversion was designed by Lab Architecture Studio. It reopened in June 2011. In its first year, 700,000 people visited the new museum.

Bristol Harbour Railway offers train rides along the quayside on selected weekends, using restored steam locomotives and rolling stock.

War Memorial, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Shimla Hills, H.P.

Founded by Sir Henry and Lady Honoria Lawrence, Sanawar is believed to be the first co-educational boarding school in the world. On 15 April 1847, a group of 14 boys and girls camped at the top of the foothills of the Himalayas. They lived under canvas for some weeks anxiously waiting for the first buildings to be completed before the arrival of the monsoon. Thus did Sanawar come into existence. By 1853, the school had grown to 195 pupils when it was presented with the King's Colour. One of only six schools and colleges ever to be so honoured in the entire British Empire British Empire, the others being Eton Eton College, Shrewsbury , Cheltenham, the Duke of York's Royal Military School and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Sanawar has held its Colour for the longest unbroken period.

Video projection on the façade of Théâtre Maisonneuve

Life on earth began with an erotic show in which nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen and potassium intertwined in an opening dance. Three billion years later, due to humanity, organic activity on earth has deflated; the orgy is coming to an end. We are entering the Molysmocène period, the era of trash... But what if a new lifeform were born from the soup of capitalism’s discarded leftovers? The artist wishes to thank the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.

“I’m baffled at your sense of entitlement. It’s not that you ask in the first place; it’s that you ask again, after I’ve answered. No, where are you really from? Is there any other personal question to which you would outright reject my answer? Would you say that about my height, or my profession? I can refuse — no, it’s not your role to define my identity, to put boundaries on who I can and can’t be — and yet you do it over and over.” ―Zara Rahman

“I can’t spend too much time thinking about you, though. I meet people like you regularly, at least once a week. It’s exhausting. Sometimes I will say whatever I think you want to hear, anything to make the conversation progress before we get to the awkward part where you realize that you wouldn’t be talking to me like this if I were white.” ―Zara Rahman

Birdwood - The academic block, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh, India.

The Lawrence School - Sanawar , established in 1847, situated at a height of 1750 metres and spread over an area of 139 acres, heavily forested with pine, deodar and other conifer trees , is the fruit of the vision of Sir Henry Lawrence, and his wife Honoria.

Sanawar is a co-educational boarding school, affiliated to CBSE and has students of varying backgrounds from different parts of the sub-continent. It provides an environment that encourages a questioning mind and gives students many avenues for expressing their creativity and building their skills.

Robert Tor Russell, chief architect to the Government of India designed Connaught Place in 1932 based upon an outline by W.H. Nichollas (the committee's architect from 1913-1917). The area is instantly recognizable on any map of Delhi, being the big circle in the middle with radial roads spreading out in all directions, like spokes on a wheel. Eight separate roads lead out from Connaught's inner circle, named Parliament Street and Radial Roads 1 through 7. Twelve different roads lead out from Connaught Circus, the outer ring; the most well-known of these is Janpath, the continuation of Radial Road 1.

Connaught Place's obvious Victorian architecture is modeled after the Royal Crescent in Bath, England.

The oblong buiding that you see is called Sooka Sentral, an example of creative architecture in Kuala Lumpur. The train is heading towards the hustle and buslte of KL Sentral Station.

Connaught Place has a long and distinguished history behind it. Named after the Duke of Connaught, a member of the British royal family, this market was designed by Designed by Robert Tor Russell in collaboration with WH Nicholls. A sprawling circular market, it was the largest of its kind in India at that time.

The British believed that a market in the shape of a horseshoe would prove lucky for both shoppers and shopkeepers. There may be something in that as CP continues to be delhi’s premier shopping destination even after sixty-five years of its birth.

Apart from being the commercial and business hub of Delhi, CP has countless restaurants, watering holes, shops and emporia and cinema halls too.

A challenging assignment in a town with very little creative architecture. This church is on the national historic register as a classic Art Deco design. The tall windows and detail are indeed intended to look like church organs. The sky was a typical early winter gray creating almost no contrast on things. Decided to go b&w to accentuate the shapes and texture.

“America is already worse off for Trump’s presidency. He was elected to make America great again, but his future is more like other nations’ sordid past. His own party has been sullenly complicit, showing how little esteem many politicians place in our most cherished values, not the least of them honesty and dignity. For all of them, an accounting is coming. When they are asked by history what they did during the Trump years, the worst of them will confess that they bobbled their heads like dumb dolls, while the best will merely say they kept their heads down.” ―Richard Cohen
