The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!

I, uh… got an award this weekend.
It's a small book about Houston.
yay! I'm still very surprised, but happy nonetheless. It's really the first thing I've ever received like this before. I was shaking pretty badly about it, nervous and in disbelief, honestly. Thank you to all who have helped me with this project, sincerely. I couldn't have done anything without your support. In fact, I'd be nothing. I'd just be overly caffeinated goo without you. <3
A most special thanks to Matty, who took the time out to take the photographs for this book project and to A&E The Graphics Complex for helping me get it printed. Also, thank you Joseph for helping me with color, I know I suck. I'm still trying!

This year, Eric Hamber Secondary put on its 22nd annual fashion show.
The show showcased creative designs of dozens of students of all ages (Grade 8 to Grade 12).
Van Tech students were on site to do the make-up and hair of the models.
Thanks to everyone who came last Friday for my Creative Mornings talk on the topic of #Rebel. It was a sold out show with 300 people on the waiting list! For those who missed the talk, you can see it here:

Trunk Show: Karen Burniston

I was blown away by Karen's display at the trunk show. I love pop-up cards and she had some amazing ones here, many were from templates or die cuts that she had designed with Sizzix. Here Karen explains how she made this foldout display of this year's teachers using the Floating Frames die and a jewelry magnetic clasp
