Fair & Creative 2016 - Ein innovativer Kontrapunkt zu klassischen Recruiting-Events
Fair & Creative war bereits 2014 und 2015 voller Erfolg!
Die beiden Salzburger Praktika-Matching-Events des Kompetenzforums CITY LABORSALZBURG und des CAREER CENTERs der Universität Salzburg im Jahr 2014 bzw. 2015 waren jeweils erfolgreiche Events im Theater im Kunstquartier.
Mit dem neuen Kooperationsparter ARGEkultur wurde das bereits bestens eingeführte Eventformat in einem neuen Rahmen bzw. neuen Haus fortgesetzt. Präsentationsstände, Kurzpräsentationen im PECHA KUCHA Format und Speed Networking waren auch im 3. Großevent die inhaltlichen Säulen.
Mit dem Anspruch der InitiatorInnen von Fair & Creative - Romy Sigl, Günther Marchner, Bernhard Jenny (alle City Labor Salzburg), Martin Mader, Alexander Seifert und He Fang Liang (beide Career Center/Universität Salzburg) - Studierende mit Kreativ- und Kulturbetrieben zusammenzubringen, richtete sich Fair & Creative 2016 verstärkt auch an Startups.

Yep, I have 'em alright and there's not much point in trying to hide from them. But not one of my creative frustrations is insurmountable. We're all here to shine ... and that's just what I'm going to do ... one small step at a time.
Started out with watercolour, collaged on watercolour brush wiped paper towels (love those), added some text in my current fav font (my underwood) and last, but not least, stuck on a print out of a journal page image that lifts me up.

TURN IT UP IN LIFE
The Life Concourse was animated with installations and booths representing groups, clubs and artists from on and off campus. This day also featured a special collaboration with students from Dr. Mary Chapman’s English 490 course on US Suffrage Literature who presented a modern day spin on timeless techniques of mobilization as well as an exhibition of work by Jessie Tarbox Beals, a Canadian photographer who was one of the first women in the United States to have a career as a photojournalist.
Our Femme Cabaret was hosted by Missy D in the Student Life Building. Featuring:

Winter photo play! I took some flowers from a dying bouquet and arranged them in the snow. When I got bored with that, a few ICICLES hanging off the roof caught my eye...so I RIPPED them off and added them to the mix. I guess it became a kind of weird ritual/ceremony to welcome spring and say GOOD BYE to winter!! 9715
