A blaze of color covered a complete car, even the windows.
Creative art, urban camo Hanover style ;)
These are "light paintings", made with the camera at low light setting, so a long shutter speed with movement creates all sorts of cool patterns. Most of the ones in this set were done the night we went driving around town looking at Christmas lights. I've already uploaded the set of "normal" Christmas light pictures. For me these are actually way more fun! I'm setting all of them as creative commons, they are VERY fun to play with. Some of my abstract or altered images started as light paintings, maybe combining aspects of several. If you use these a credit and a link back would be great. And if you could post your new image under the one you used as a comment, that would be way fun!
I do these on the highway at night too (as a passenger of course!) They're a fun way to pass the time and some of them turn out quite fun.

San Francisco; Vallejo Street; Thanksgiving weekend.
A work crew did some creative parking of a construction crane, taking up several precious spaces, just above the Caffe Trieste.
Yes, we did it:
We parked under it, went down the hill to the Trieste, had our coffee, came back, found no ticket, and made our getaway.

183 Youth Staff attended a staff training at Camp Arrowhead on Saturday, October 19, 2013. We had a great time!
Over in We're Here!, we're sharing our "creative cameras". I shot this with a Nikon D7200 with a Nikkor 40mm macro lens. The reflective surface is my phone's screen- a tip I saw in the email from Digital Photography School that I get weekly. It was an article about shooting weddings creatively. I don't shoot weddings, but you never know when you'll find something you can use elsewhere. All the smudges, dust, and air bubbles are visible.

I was trying to be a little creative over the weekend with something I've never tried before, blur photography. Reminds me of seeing cartoon animation flip charts.

Dear Dr. Au-yeung,
Attached are the 3 photos selected. (These are actually more than 3, but I
have to get them from my home desktop in Cheung Chau.)
Best,
