This little porcelain head became a fairy instead of an angel. Whe has a coffee dyed flower hat topped with pale pink flowers. Her pin is an old button. Love the shredded hair!

This was made for my granddaughter last Summer from a pillowcase embroidered and crocheted by her great-great grandmother....she will be able to wear it for quite some time.

How the hell did they find out about my pernicious, licentious, and sensuous ways??
Wait. Maybe they meant PZ?
This is from the Institute for Creation research's daily affirmation booklet. Yikes.

Spooky ghost cupcakes entirely inspired by A Baked Creation's cakes, on the blog A Baked Creation: www.abakedcreation.com/2009/10/ghosts-of-cupcakes-past.html
These were easy to make, visit the above blog to see great instructions from the creator.
My brother and his girlfriend are coming to visit tonight, so I made these cakes!
My second caketopper creation, "Rapunzel" would make a beautiful traditional addition to a bright white coconut cake or simple fondant-covered single or double tier. Perfect for a Spring wedding and a modern and uplifting color pallette.
Encrusted with tiny hydrangea die cut flowers in a myriad of yellow and green hues, pinned with golden yellow quilting pins atop upcycled white layered linen pieces (I cut apart a too small jacket) and topped with coordinating trim that can be swept up, arranged around, or cascading down the side.
A new type creation here at justlucky, Classix. Download it at: yourjustlucky.com/shop

Jeff and I had a booth at the Maker Faire. We showed off our "Cardboard Creations", Halloweedn costumes and a castle we made on site.
On Saturday, we had a workshop, where people came and made their own stuff. Many of the pictures in the set show off the things that people made.
The Maker Faire was a lot of fun. There were nerds and kids and families, hipsters, hippies and the technorati. Everyone seemed excited, with a look in their eyes that said they had arrived at something wonderful, something that needed to be brought in one place.
Some 150 years ago, the British naturalist Charles Darwin proposed a theory based on various observations made during his travels, but which could not be supported by any subsequent scientific findings. In essence, his theory of evolution consisted of various scenarios, assumptions and conjectures that Darwin dreamed up in his own imagination.
According to his evolution scenario, inanimate substances came together by chance to give rise to the first living cell. No doubt this claim was highly inaccurate, and one that could not be corroborated by any scientific evidence or findings. Again according to that myth, this single-celled life form gradually-and again by chance-turned into the first living species of microbe-in other words, it evolved. According to the evolution error, all the life forms on Earth, from bacteria on up to human beings, emerged as the result of this same imaginary process.
Darwin's claims were of course based on no scientific evidence or findings. But since the scientific understanding and technological means available at the time were at a fairly primitive level, the full extent of the ridiculous and unrealistic nature of his assertions did not emerge fully into the light of day. In such a climate, Darwin's scenarios received general acceptance from a wide number of circles.
