Ok so this isn't really crafting...I didn't feel up to it today. But here are some flannels that I recently purchased to make doll pajamas. Once I feel a little more confident I hope to work on them. I can't decide if the solid blue at the far right works with the acorn fabric or not...I think it is maybe a tad too bright, I'll have to see.
The craft for the Tweens and the Young Adults this week was creating their very own radioactive fairy jars!

Craft foam cuts easily and is not too floppy, but is not a strong material. I glued it to plastic hardware cloth to make it stay flat.
Certain kinds of spray paint make the foam curl, but it works just fine with water-soluble block printing ink.

This program took place at Edenvale Library on Monday, July 25, 2016. Event description: This program is designed especially for young children age 1-5. Bring your child to have fun and get messy with paint.
This one took me about 9 months of straight work (I worked throughout a year, but took a couple months off when I got tired of stitching on it).

Easy craft: floral "marbles", recycled magazines, a big hole punch, and silicone adhesive. My next plan is to decorate and disguise the Altoids tins which make perfect gift containers for the marbles which cling to the metal bottom. Nifty!

I modified Hillary Lang's "Kitty, Bunny and Bear "pattern to try and make a dog. This one is simple cuz he's for my soon to arrive nephew Romeo. I plan on making a girl version with lots of "bells and whistles". Any suggestions to make it look more dog like?
