Some thin tulle in nice colors were the find of the day. A tiny piece of the flutterby fabric, finally. Plastic beads for some cool projects I have in mind. Basic cheap sewing equipment for a box I'll make for my sister tonight. Small wooden beads. A rotary cutter - I want to give it a try and hope it will be useful for some stuff I make. Jewelry glue, for stone, wood, glass and metal. Chain and wire for tiny jewelry making. And some ribbons and trims.
Most of this is for ideas I have for my craft/kids website that I hope to get going with again soon...

This craft punch was at the dollar store...I've stared at this picture for hours on end and I still can't figure out what it's meant to be! Two people facing each other? A pair of lungs with a cross stuck between them? WHAT??

Soooooo the April Stash bust challenge, was a complete bust for me, lol! there happened to be a once in a year stampers art event in NL this weekend and I just couldn't resist not going. and well if you go, you cannot resist buying! But i actually didn't do too bad, there were people leaving with little roller bags full!!! My sweetie went with me in search for some carving blocks and we actually found some (not pictured) but he also bought the asian beauty stamp for himself :)
Finally, I came across a table at Goodwill for the crafts room. I've been looking for about a year. At first i put a 6 foot plastic one up here and it just didn't work for me so that went to the basement for me to load boxes on.
I was in a hurry for Christmas Card and didn't have time to stamp or scrapbook one so I used buttons and stickers.

In celebration of Small Business Saturday on November 29, the library teamed up with the local EstyNooga shop owners to produce a craft fair on the 4th Floor. More than 40 makers, crafters, artists and tinkerers were selling their unique gifts to nearly 500 visitors throughout the day. The event also featured the talented teen entrepreneurs who participated in Camp EtsyNooga as well as adult students from Etsy's Craft Entrepreneurship classes piloted at the Chattanooga Public Library in October.

I finished my fabric basket (inspired by colophon design and the link she gave to a tutorial www.flickr.com/photos/8652944@N07/2289354883/ ).
While choosing fabric I had trouble deciding whether the green should go on the inside or the outside. Now I have made it I realised that it is reversible, so I can change it around which ever way I want!
Crazy monkeys take a last dive into the Michigan leaves before they head down to Texas as part of the Craft Hope initiative. The monkeys, and hundreds of their friends, are going to kids of families who lost their homes in the Texas fires.

Whipped up these napkins from some fabric I scored at a Hat City Scissor Squad craft swap last year.
RAW CRAFT presents imaginative contemporary furniture by seven designers that is charcterised by careful use of materials and a problem-solving approach to making. The design of these works addresses current issues such as furniture for multi-functional living spaces, lack of storage space and economic use of resources. This international line-up of makers all bring a very hands-on and crafed approach to design and making which stands out in an age of mass-production and computer aided design.
