Using the many photos taken in the Grant Museum I created the suggestion of a human form out of an arrangement of jars within this painting based on the shape of the Venusian man. The face was inspired by that of a smallpox sufferer seen on a visit to the Huntarian Museum. Painted in oils on an 80x100cm canvas.
