The couple was in motion on the breakwater.
At first I was angrily because I wanted to take a photo in bulb exposure of the brakwater and the waves.
Later I was astonished about the result.
These folks came and sat as I set up to photograph the bridge. Totally a candid shot. They did not know they were adding to the composition.

This piece is titled 'Coupled'. It is the fourth painting that Allison and I have completed. We use a pixilation style of painting that is rooted in photography. We paint side by side at the same time on one canvas.
Pieces 2 and 3 are currently being hung in an exhibit in the Illinois State Art Museum - Lockport.

“Walking Couple” — A couple walks up a narrow, curving street in Montpellier, France.
As the end of our December visit to Montpellier approached, we took a walk through some areas that we had missed the previous days — a walk that took us to the train station, then through a sort of light industrial area, and finally back up into the old central city. Here the streets are often very narrow and lined the tall buildings — and not much light penetrates all the way to the street level.
I grabbed this shot of a couple pushing a stroller up this narrow, curving street. In addition to the usual appeal of the street designed for walking rather than driving, the way the street curved and the increased glow of light at the curve attracted my attention. The unusual pattern of the paving also directs the eye toward the curve and, in this case, the two people.

A wonderful couple at the Red Leaf Studios workshop in White Rock. They've been married already for a few months and totally in love! They posed tirelessly and seemed to have a fantastic time.
Hanging out with the big boys. A sizable size and appearance between the Canada Goose on the left and the smaller Greater White Fronted Goose on the right.
I have to say this is the first time I've seen a pair of Great Blue Herons, they are usually solitary birds in my experience.
This couple were dancing just behind some tall rushes... I couldn't move over to get a better shot without walking into Bronte Creek myself.
It was a great moment and I was glad I had my camera with me.
Did some tonal adjustments in Luminar4 to try and lessen the distracting reeds.
