This attractive couple in their prime had their CDV portrait taken in the studio of Turner, Photographer, South West Corner King & Yonge Streets, Toronto. A pencil inscription written on the reverse in a neat cursive hand appears to read, "Mr. & Mrs. S.J.J. Brown, Niagara, River Road".
I don't think there can be much doubt that this photo shows Solomon John Johnson Brown (1825 - 1898) and his wife Rebecca Agnes Field (1829 - 1914). The couple are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Welland, Niagara, Ontario.

Took some pictures with this super nice couple to get to know each other a little better. I´m going to photograph their wedding next month. This wedding is gonna be amazing :)

A young couple are pictured with a moon in front of a painted backdrop of stars and clouds. This is the same studio set that is in a tintype of three couples we acquired at the same time as well as a tintype we have had for several years. It was suggested by the seller that it might be Luna Park, I assume on Cony Island. Does anyone know if this is correct?
