Couple, Newbiggin-By-The-Sea - 55°10'54.828" N 1°30'52.793" W
Decided to head over to the Holy Island on Friday evening for sunset, which was cracking to be fair, pics to follow at some point. This was followed by some Car Camping waiting for sunrise, this unfortunately was poor and didn’t have anything to offer due to a lack of clouds. We had circa five minutes to get across the Causeway before it became impassable again for another four hours or so! So, we hot wheeled across the other side and worked our way down the East coast ending up at Whitby, taking in a few great locations on the way, Newbiggin-By-The-Sea being one of many and in particular the “Couple” Comprising two five metre tall bronze figures – a man and a woman - standing on the new breakwater and looking out to sea, this unique commission by the South East Northumberland Public Art & Design Initiative (INSPIRE), has been created by internationally renowned artist Sean Henry.

Brian and Mary Lou enjoying a weekend away. Very cute and kind young couple that allowed me to take their picture.
She motioned to her boyfriend that she wanted a hug. He stood, and momentarily forgetting that she was wearing a mask, she tried to kiss him. A more appropriate kiss came seconds later.
Her first words that I could hear, as her family cheered, were, "Did everyone know about this?"
Zoo staff are now trying to get my photos to the couple.
