This gorgeous lady has been my kids' teacher for the past two years. She is so incredibly sweet, I just love her! I've been DYING to get her in front of my camera and last night I finally got the chance! I got to do couple pictures for her and her boyfriend. It was SO MUCH FUN!! My friend and assistant Lisa Dubisar came along with us. It was such a blast!

A couple weeks ago, I had the idea of doing a wireframe that wasn't based on the Ow style edge units. This is what I came with-- it's an FIT with units based on Robert Neale's Penultimate Unit. As such, the width of each unit along an of the tetrahedron is not constant and this gives the model an interesting look. I actually think I like this one more than the original FIT. I like how the weaving is more open/less dense than the original FIT.
The units are very simple, but the weaving/assembly is a bit more difficult than the original FIT. I will post a cheatsheet/diagrams of some sort soon. The dimensions are 3x7 if anyone wants to try reverse engineering the unit before I get instructions up.
