Our outreach of evangelism to underprivileged children and single parents in the crime-filled projects--these photos were from last night as people got food and answers based on the Bible about how to know Jesus as their Savior. Police sirens in the background could not keep the Lord from being at work. One man came to understand what salvation by grace means for the first time. Another woman said she was going to get back into church this Sunday, and a Muslim family wanted to learn more about the real Jesus (unlike the Isa of Islam who never died on the cross) and appreciated the food.
Wyatt really wanted one of these chicks! Luckily for us (or rather Daddy) he agreed to settle for a toy Buffalo instead.
While the views from the castle atop the peninsula were beautiful, I couldn't resist wandering "off the beaten path" to see what I might behold from within the trees...
