Despite the fact that I really cherish all kinds of red things, there's something disturbing and maybe unsettling in this capture, that's why I love it.
2013 Abandoned LHD London Taxi TX4 spotted at Medina, Saudi Arabia 🈂.
One of supposably between 200-400 cabs that was ordered back in 2013 by private taxi company in Saudi Arabia for several years before they quietly disappeared due to reliability issues and high cost maintenance, some of them resold again for the public and other companies.
I notice there are handicap sign on front windscreen, so my guess this is was used as wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV)
... for me at least cause i dont have classes on friday...I can FINALLY relax and spend time with Miss Becca, and Freya... and sleep lol
Anne Wouldwijk sculpted the image of Great Pier. In 1992, the statue was offered as a gift to the local government, and has found a permanent place right outside the Church on the Town Square in Kimswerd.
I have started a new picture of a day project -- this time the theme is Colour. I will try to shoot a different colour or colour combination every day.
The idea is originally Mari's but she was gracious enough to let me use it.

Something I never expected to see 😮.... An LHD Mercedes-Benz Axor (maybe an Axor 1824) convert into some fansy-shmansy camper truck, touring bus-like from UK , spotted in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Update: Someone in Facebook informed me that this truck belong to an adventure tours & epic overland expeditions company called (Madventure) based in the UK.

A small bed and breakfast in the center of Kimswerd already shows the relationship with the legend of Great Pier. The house has been completely renovated in the '90's, and is now used as a hotel and restaurant where local foods are served to the visitors of the town.

As it often went in medieval times, the town of Kimswerd has been invaded many times by different groups. At one point, the Roman empire stretched out all the way through Frisia to the North Sea. This meant that the locals would have to adopt some of the Roman customs, but in order to have the people accept the changes, locals were still able to practice their own beliefs, as long as they were also 'praying' to the Roman gods.
