Happy "Starfighter Friday"... or something (it's Friday somewhere in the world right now... )
Starfighter inspired by the trans-atmospheric space fighter planes of the anime "Space Battleship Yamato 2199". This was mostly inspired by the Cosmo Falcon (Hayabusa) but it also has apsects of the Cosmo Alpha Zero as well. I intended to make a more faithful replica of the Cosmo Falcon, but there were some scaling challenges with using those technic panels as intakes (if there was a technic panel with the same contour, but flat ends vs. tapered, I could have extended the wings back farther. The front edge of the wings should also be at a steeper in angle to the body, and the nose should be tapered more... but anyway...). In other words, critiques and suggestions are welcome.
And inserting yet another friendly reminder that the LSB 2019 Speederbike Contest is Underway!!!. Get in on that!
this one is from my garden - I have about 30 cosmo plants but very few blooms at this time - Hopefully they will explode in color during the month of August!

We'd stopped behind the local Pharmacy when this big boy ambled across the driveway as if he owned the place. However, the Owner of the Flat (above) explained that the cat - who he said was called Cosmo - actually lived some distance away, but regularly visited just to make sure that his "Subjects" were behaving themselves...!
As Cosmo began to amble off roughly in the direction of his home, he paused, looked over his shoulder, gave an absolutely disdainful look to anyone watching, and continued to wonder on his way...
I'm a bit late posting this, but if you live in the northern hemisphere, well: happy Caturday...! :-))

Today's story and sketch "by me" you see Cosmo "MCPPOTG" Man Cave Posse Protectors Of The Galaxies crime scene investigator and photographer, at the crash site of another pilotless interstellar transporter. The pilot or the crafts leasing company, evidently did not receive the recall notice for all of the XP22 Comfy Jelly Captain's Seats. Cosmo has become the Man Caves best on site XP22 evidence collector, always very careful not to touch any of the grey gelatinous lump that was once the pilot, when collecting a swab of the unfortunate pilots DNA, but always efficient getting enough of a sample to identify both the pilot and XP22 Jellies manufacturing batch data, before sealing the entire craft in "DO NOT CROSS CRIME SCENE TAPE".
