Stand-out Cosmo, is catching the Morning Sun Light.

Cosmos is a genus, with the same common name of cosmos, consisting of flowering plants in the sunflower family. Native to meadow and heathland in Mexico.

They grow prolifically in dryland gardens such as ours, in South Australia,

Found a few Cosmo Flower,s today.

This is from a group of striking Cosmo blossoms that came up over by the upper pond; Mickie can't recall planting them. I see a ancient wabi-sabi hero in warrior mode; you may see something different, like a wilting flower. I love the form, texture, and color; nothing new there. Be careful; the bite may be worse than the bark! ;-)

I don't know why Photoshop couldn't include the EXIF data, but this was shot on 8/21/23 with a Nikon D850 and a 105mm "Micro" Nikkor 2.8 VR lens, at 1/100, f/22.0, and ISO 500.
