We reached Cool Springs, AZ, a little road stop that was abandoned and became a ruin when the road was bypassed by a straighter alignment of Route 66, and then the nearby interstate highway. Few years ago, a Chicago businessman bought the property and rebuilt the store based on old photographs of the store. Now it's an operational store than once again serves the travelers that pass by the road.
Fabrics were chosen & cut for the Warm Cool Quilt Along!
