After much needed rain

Brian looks so cool wearing his glasses indoors. But they're not sunglasses; they're glasses to help correct his colour blindness. BTW the hats swivelled backward helps the cool vibe. He does that when he takes photos, and he learned that move from moi.

I like the vibe of this photo, despite the fact that I didn't nail the focus.

This guy was just way too cool to worry about it.The pic was shot high ISO and pretty quickly...so not great, but look at that face.

Here are all my Cool Times barbie from 1988. This is one of my favourite barbie doll lines of all times! Now I only miss Barbie and Ken and the collection will be completed.

Ed ecco le mie barbie Cool Times del 1988. Questa è una delle mie linee barbesche preferite in assoluto. Ora mi mancano solamente Barbie e Ken per completare la collezione.

You may think this was an easy shot. Not quite. My first attempts were with my pooch in a "Sit" position. As soon as I put the sunglasses on her she would shake them off or look down and they would fall off. I then had her go to a "Down" position which kept her a little more still. After a few attempts the sunglasses stayed on long enough for me to catch this image. The blurry tongue is her contribution to this picture. Another old photo. And since this girl seems to be very popular, based on the number of views and favs... here is another.

So this is the day shot of that wall we did along the bund at a place called the cool docks. I was supposed to paint during an event there and we decided to meet up before and hit up this long wall over some horrid commissioned wall painting. A very nice spot as at a certain angle you can get in the backdrop the shanghai skyline with the famous landmark buildings. Unfortunently we got stopped by some guard who went berzerk on us for having painted over it ... we pretended (i did the others didnt have to) no being able to speak chinese or understand and we managed to walk away.

The following night we returned and finished off the wall, a much better look now.

Está claro que un riachuelo de poco más de un metro de anchura atravesando un hayedo da juego le pongas lo que le pongas! ;-)

Espero que os guste.

Litchfield Nature Park

This was taken at the same location as my “Everywhere” shot. If you look at the front of the house where the shrubs have gone wild, that is right in front of the breezeway (or dogtrot) . I was about to walk by because I couldn’t even see the front of the breezeway but decided to push the shrubs apart for a look, I thought ..wow that would make a cool HDR shot, but there is no where to set up.

Here is what I have to do with my little camera to get bracket shots.

Push a button to get me to exposures, make my choice, select. Then most times pick timer for 2 seconds. then take the shot.

I skipped the timer for this.

So I had to repeat that process 3 times, while holding my tripod out at a angle through the bushes stretching to reach all my little buttons, while trying to keep the frame the same.

I walked away thinking, I bet that didn’t work.

So….when I got home and checked those shots out I thought “hey, this might work” I loaded them in photomatix and waited.

And this is what I got.

I am proud of this one. Hope ya’ll like it.

And thanks everybody for your great comments on all my little pics.

And thanks for the Favs too.

It really means a lot to me.
