A mother Polar Bear cools off in a patch of snow on a very hot day in Greenland. This mother and her cub were walking along the side of the fjord and once they saw the ship the mother became immediately curious and eventually and tentatively came right down the waters edge and even entered the water and swam out towards our zodiacs. She was regularly smelling the air and I am sure she was sizing us up for a possible next meal. She and the cub returned to shore after deciding we were not worth the effort. The cub was the hairiest I had ever seen, it looked like it was shampooed and blow-dried. This was one of the most amazing Polar bear encounters I have ever had. The beautiful weather and calm waters made my photos look like they were taken in a zoo!

This is in Boscombe Gardens, Dorset. This is a recreation area for disabled children, but there were none there that day! It is so relaxing in that swing! Would like to be in that now!

Been away for a while as work is intense lately.
It is hotter than Hell in SoCal this week so thought I would publish something cool and refreshing. From the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando Florida.

Poor Lurch,never gets to run like Sash.Hard to get a good shot when he's jerking me this and that.and on leash.If he gets free,he will be gone hunting until he drops.last time he was gone 2 weeks.Crashed out on someones porch 3 miles away.

This was one of my dream trips to 19000 feet . It's Leh Ladakh in India.
This was captured in Thikse Monastery. The Monks were praying, the room was almost dark.
The Monks allowed me to enter during their prayer, I tried to capture some moments .
Saw this old gentlemen looking at me through his cool glass, even if the room was dark.
Thought this is a great combination !!!
The only light was the light from the main door and reflection from Golden Buddha.
