I saw a post earlier today on Bubbles freezing in the cold outside air so I thought i woul d give it a go, made up a bubble wand thingy from a coat hanger and home made bubble mix, popped outside to see, the bubble didnt freeze but it did stay for about 15 minutes, here it is, it was about 28 F when I tried I suspect it needs to be at least 10 degrees cooler
This is one of the most beautiful planes ever made (behind the Corsair ofcourse). The Catalina played such an important part of the war in the pacific. I love the detail of the bright clouds behind the dark blue paint.
