This is possibly the BEST time to visit the region, we had stunning sunny days, cool evenings, spring flowers - perfection!
The pan on the top is non-seasoned, the pan on the bottom (shiny) is seasoned using the salt and oil method.
After having been salted, the peppers are immersed in olive oil so that they'll be preserved. When the days are short and the wind howls, we'll experience the hot summer sun when we spoon this on our pasta!
