The Macro Mondays theme for tomorrow, 11/7, is biscuits, or - on this side of the pond - cookies. These are one of the six varieties I bought to photograph. Luckily there is someone who will help eat them, to save me from myself… giggling.

These cookies were my second choice for the Crazy Tuesday theme. No one wanted to eat them because they were too pretty to be eaten.
These were my first gingerbread cookies. For the next Christmas I will be better prepared, I will buy bigger cutters (these are small 4 cm) so I will have more space for drawing with icing.

I made these for a birthday at my brother in laws home for my nephew,
They love lace cookies and is very easy for me to make.
Macro Monday's and the theme of "Biscuit".
I bought a pack of eight cookies in our local supermarket. I was still wondering how I would present them when it came to taking the photo.
In the end I placed them on a white plate and stacked three together but slightly slanted and dropped crumbs from the packaging around them.
Then it was just a case of rotating the plate and the cookies until I found a final composition that I was happy with.
The photo is focussed at the three inch mark which I did prior to framing and then move the camera in and out until I had it sharp-ish.
