Fast rider ;) Motorbikes are a very popular prop in retail design, especially at fashion shops, possibly because of the bikes' inherent 'sexiness'... But this fashion brand actually does designer apparel for bikers (with some cool jackets more expensive than a bike ;) ))
After twenty years working in the same building, my job has moved. These are my last shots before I go.

Just an odd photo taken at the end of the session, and not something I intended to take when I started!

Keeps pretty well and is the opposite to Bramley in that it keeps its shape when cooked rather than going to mush. Good to mix bramleys and Striped beefing in an apple tart.
I have this as a big tree, on MM106 rootstock, planted in 2004
I got this Cooker from a seller who claimed it had never been opened. I'm not so sure about that, cause the clear plastic doors were scratched and the bag of items looked suspect. Like it had been tampered with and sealed shut with a piece of tejp.
It's still lovely and I'm happy to have it.
What you see in the photo is what was in the bag, but it doesn't correspond with the item description, so I'm not sure it's accurate.
The chocolate cake is added for example, but who doesn't like cake right?

An accident in Plumstead High Street, near Plumstead station. This was a firm dealing in scrapping old cookers. There seemed to be a few mishaps with the lorries. There was another along the road a few months earlier.

I can't cook rice consistently. sometimes it's great, and last week I burned it. I get distracted.
I found this mini rice cooker, used, online. It's smaller than my kettle; just the thing for 2 portions, ready in 30 minutes.

The earth is simply cooking from the inside out. This image shows the effect that the steam coming from deep within the Earth has had on the surface as it finally escapes.
Such intense heat, but life still exists right up to the point of escape. Good old Mother Nature, she's got it together...
The Crab Cooker is a popular Southern California restaurant specializing in seafood, located on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California. The restaurant is housed in an old branch building of the Bank of America located at 22nd & Newport Blvd. The logo of the bank prior to its merger with NationsBank can still be seen embedded in the corner of the building. It was established in 1951 and is considered a local landmark.
The outside of the restaurant is painted in bright red. Inside the restaurant, the decoration is a pastiche of unique items ranging from paintings by famous artists, theater chandeliers, pots and pans, a wrought-iron gate, nautical equipment – and a giant shark.[5] The restaurant is known for its casual atmosphere.[6] While a favorite local haunt, tourists from around the world visit to sample the cuisine and send one of their post cards, eat off of paper plates, and see the iconic fish sign. It is not uncommon to see patrons waiting in lines snaking down the street. These lines once elevated The Crab Cooker to national headlines when advance staff for then President Richard Nixon once asked to allow the president to be seated for dinner, and the staff informed them that the president would have to wait along with rest of the folks (any president would have gotten the same treatment)
According to a newspaper article displayed on a wall in the restaurant, dated January 29, 1960, two dory fisherman were 100-yards out from shore by the Newport Beach pier when they snagged, in their sea bass nets, the 1,000 pound white shark; the largest caught to date on the west coast.
The Crab Cooker's commercial fisher was nearby and the crew removed the shark from the tangled nets. It was then set it on display in front of the restaurant; dorsal fin waving in mock greeting to the crowds of 20,000 onlookers who jammed the streets for three days.
Though not all of the fish served at the restaurant comes in as fresh as the white shark, the fish the restaurant serves is fresh because it is bought directly from the fisherman, and they have people who fish specifically for them.
