Cal Cars was again invited to do a conversion demonstration over the two days of the Make Faire. This time they put us in the main hall. It went much smoother this year. There were also improvements. Now the battery box can be tilted so that the owner can access the spare tire.

Conversion from AS7-D to AS7-DH using an IWM 20-942RE

as a base, added RAC from Hammerhands, AMLA from Mandrill, large lasers from Starslayer and various bits from the "reseen" Warhammer.

This was a two-car garage built in the 1960's that the owner wanted to convert to a single-car garage and about 200 SF of finished space for an office and finished storage.

 

Once the old garage door was removed we laid down 6-mil plastic sheeting over the concrete slab to prevent moisture from moving up into the new floor and walls.

Currently I'm testing some of the Color Efex filters. This is the B/W conversion. I'd get the filters if they weren't at that steep price of 160 Euro (funny things is that they cost only 160$ in the US. Quite a rip off!).
